Sparx Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA) is a solid MBSE architecture modeling tool that supports OMG SysML syntax (notation) and provides basic support for requirements traceability, model-based simulation, and automated documentation generation.
Shortcomings include, but are not limited to: unintuitive and gratuitously complex UX, failure to enforce SysML wellformedness rules for syntax and semantics, kludgey simulation capabilities, crude extension mechanisms (Profiles and scripts), and dysfunctional XMI interoperability.
Sparx EA is an excellent value when one considers its extensive feature set and relatively low price. Recommended as a MBSE tool that supports Agile MBSE methods and basic simulation of Parametric and Activity diagrams. Designated as a "Best Value" among competitive SysML modeling tools.
